Facilities

Mareco Kunststoffen can offer a variety of moulding processes; regular injection moulding (horizontal and vertical),  insert moulding and 2K-injection moulding. We are equiped with moulding machines with clamping force ranging from 250 [KN] up to 3200 [KN] and state-of-the-art robotic processes. A very important feature of our moulding shop is the clean production environment. Due to our continuous keep-it-clean disicpline Mareco can perform according to the highest quality demands of the  medical-, graphical- and sensor industry .

We are specialized in producing high quality plastic parts for advanced applications, these parts are often made out of a high tech polymer like PEEK, PES, PEI, PVDF, PPSU, LCP, IXEF, PPS, PBTP, PPO... Mareco has built up  years of  experience  with this kind of special polymers and products, for that important reason we can enjoy a large international clientele in the medical-, graphical and sensor technology.

Multiple secondary processes are also available, including Ultra-Sonar welding, 3D Laserwelding of plastic parts, machining (CNC milling and more)  and assembly work of special units.

LASERWELDING is an advanced technique to create a lasting and high-graded bond between plastic parts. It is based upon the light transmission properties of a polymer and its absorbing characteristics.

By integrating robotic movements, 3D contours are perfectly laser weldable.

MACHINING is very useful when parts have to be modified or when rework is necessary. Our mechanical workshop has a modern and  extensive equipment, including CNC milling, turning, drilling and more.

 

Our ASSEMBLY department is specialized in precision and accuracy is standard. The next picture shows an assembly-unit for adjusting inkjet printheads used on very large industrial printers. With a very high resolution these printers produce posters, billboards, fleet displays, screen printing and more. To reach the exceptional high printing quality the positioning of every ink-dot has to be within a few µm. For that reason the positioning device has to have at least the same accuracy level. The assembly unit exists of several mechanical parts integrated and combined with injection moulded (and insert moulded) parts made from high tech polymers.

Every completed assembly is 100% controled in a special control unit to guarantee the specified position of the head in X-, Y- and Z- direction.  Visit our customers pages...

Engineering

Mareco is your partner in development for many engineering projects.  Combination of our vast experience in mould making (since 1939!) and our extensive knowledge of injection moulding (since 1976!) makes it the key factor for success in moulding the highest part quality. Our engineers are professionals who have extensive knowledge and who are equiped with all inecessary instruments, like  3D CAD systems, the most comprehensivilely Moldfow packages and of course the knowledge about injection moulds. And, last but not least, the strong possiblities and advantages of prototyping during the engineering traject.  

Full integration of our MOLDFLOW Plastics Insight finite element analysis in the tooling design results in excellent quality parts for even the most complex designs. It is a very usefull instrument during the construction of a mould.

Moldflow simulation

Analysis results are professionally interpreted using the years of experience and knowledge of our moldshop and injection molding department, and are used to predict and eliminate potential manufacturing problems before they even occur.

Our MOULDSHOP. Mareco Gereedschapmakerij B.V., designs and fabricates the best tooling for all injection moulding operations of Mareco Kunststoffen. They are also a crucial partner in the engineerings traject of a plastic part.

Prototyping

PROTOTYPING, a very important support, especially in the design phase of a project, is also provided by our  sister-company Mareco Prototyping B.V. They have a mechanical- and a Rapid-Prototyping department where prototypes  (also rapid manufactured parts) are generated by machining as well as by Selective Laser Sintering.

They are sintering with real thermoplastics which properties are very close to comparable injection molded parts.
